On March 21st, Tom Brady’s Super Bowl 51 jersey was been found. Also found was Tom Brady’s Super Bowl 49 jersey and Von Miller’s Super Bowl 50 Helmet. The man behind the stealing is known as Martin Mauricio Ortega, who was the director of the Mexico based newspaper, Diario La Presna. He had valid media passes into the lockeroom. He resigned the same day the jersey was found due to “family issues.”

Authorities tell ESPN that they used Fox footage of the post game and saw Ortega reach into Brady’s bag, take the jersey and put it into a black plastic bag, and then walk out. Law enforcement went over 20,000 credentials from the Super Bowl and settled on Ortega as the man to settle on.

Police have not said if anyone is in police custody, but everyone is glad these historical sports pieces have been recovered.
