This film resulted in a $220 million dollar opening, the second-largest opening of all time following Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

For the ninth movie Star Wars has produced, it is surprising to many that this movies series is still doing as well as they did in the beginning. Some viewers thoroughly enjoyed this film, whereas others had some mixed opinions.

Portsmouth High School senior, Cody Graham, said, “I thought the movie was fantastic! I really liked the Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker battle scene.”

A number of students that were interviewed agreed that it was a poor decision to show Princess Leia “floating” to reveal that she acquired the force. PHS junior, Jeremy Destefano, said, “We all knew she had the force, but why would they make her float ? It was kind of a set off from the scene.”

Over all, this Star War production seemed to have been one of the best for both the producer and their audience. This film was a “Golden Rotten Tomato”  winner on Rotten Tomato, with a outstanding percentage of 90% in favor of the movie.

From what it sounds like Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a must see; break out the movie tickets, kick back, relax, and enjoy the movie.
