The days are getting colder as the holiday break drifts farther away, and the snow days start to pile up. Many students at Portsmouth High School say they binge watch their favorite shows on Netflix during these chilly times. Netflix was successful with their selection of shows in 2017 and 2018.

Mari Patch, (10th grade) said her favorite show was Skins, because of “how diverse and interesting the characters are and how funny it is.”

Annie Cassell (10th grade) says she “absolutely loves how funny The Office is.”

Tori Fish (10th grade) enjoys watching That 70’s Show, also because she finds it“hilarious.”

Another few shows that are great to binge watch include, Black Mirror, Stranger Things, The Carrie Diaries, and Criminal Minds. Black Mirror gives a creepy look into what our future with technology could look like. Stranger things is a new series that surrounds around a small town with a mysterious side. The Carrie Diaries follows a girl through high school as she tries to fulfill her dreams of working as a journalist in New York City. Criminal Minds is a show about a group of federal agents that travel to investigate different crimes. All of these shows will pull you in and you may find yourself binge watching them all winter.
