Bucket List Travels

Ever since I can remember, I have had the urge to travel. There are many places I want to travel, but here are the 5 top places that are on my bucket list to venture at some point in my lifetime.

  1. Iceland

The midnight sun lights up the sky in June at this interesting, beautiful location: Iceland. Not only is this location filled with acres of nothing but nature and green grass and glaciers, it is truly quite an experience. “Iceland is really flat and very green,” Andrea Theriault told me, “there were lots of purple flowers and sheep everywhere. I saw hot springs and the beaches have black sand.” It is filled with outdoorsy-type things, and does in fact have small towns with live music, good food, and massive amounts of culture. When you think of the outdoors with icicles surrounding you, you should think of Iceland and traveling to this serene location.

  1. California

California is quite a place to travel to. Not only is it constantly buzzing with energy, it’s views are spectacular.“It is a very arid environment,” Jon Buckley described to me, “Mediterranean in some areas and lush to the north because there is more water there. There are mountain lions there, in fact. It has a very positive beach vibe.” Long rides along the beach, with all the windows down, and the warm air flowing throughout your car sounds like a good time to anyone. There are lots of places to go sightseeing and to explore.

  1. Fiji

Fiji has many things to do. Not only does it have transparent, warm ocean waters, but also mountains to hike, and just other fun activities for people who love to go on an adventure and explore. The underwater world here blooms with thousands of species of fish, and vibrant coral reefs. Fijians will give you a warm welcome when you arrive on your vacation, which could be called “paradise”.

  1. Greece

Also, described as “wildly natural”, this location flourishes with life. The sunsets that reflect a orange-pinkish tone off the Aegean Sea is truly striking. “Greece was truly a cool place to visit” Jimmy Costa  reported “I would definitely go back in a heartbeat. The ocean was extremely blue and the sand was nice and warm on the beaches. The place is filled with culture.” The sands are multicolored and unique. This place is filled with lots of culture. The culture is involved with Greek dishes and beverages. Greece is known for it’s amazing plates of scrumptious foods. There is lots of wildlife in the depths of the ocean surrounding Greece, so watch for sea turtles, dolphins, and many more species of wildlife in the underwater world.

  1. Oahu, Hawaii

Oahu, Hawaii is known as “The Gathering Place”. It is the third largest out of the Hawaiian Island. With many mini stores in the downtown part, Oahu truly leaves you in disbelief with the unforgettable, exquisite sunsets to set the tone for the night. I think I would love this location, considering it’s tropical, and I’d be surrounded by palm trees, people, and clear, blue waters.
