At 6:00pm on Thursday, March 30th, all of the candidates for Mr.PHS will take the stage and battle it out to be crowned the best. The class for 2018 is sponsoring this entertaining event to raise money for items like their class gifts, and the junior and senior proms. Fun, exciting fundraisers like this one are very popular and can bring in a lot of money for classes.

According to student council member, Greta Ferdinand, “there are typically 7-11 contestants” involved in the performance. One of these lucky men will get a crown and a 50-dollar visa gift card for being number one.  

“This fundraiser has been going on for around 10 years” says Ferdinand. In the past, these students have sang songs, danced jigs, told jokes, demonstrated school spirit, and whatever else it takes to win the crown. Most of the students do it because it is so fun, and it helps to raise money for their school. Stay tuned for this year’s big winner!
