If you turn on the news you will probably hear about all of the bad things President Donald Trump has supposedly said or done. Have you ever turned on the T.V and heard the great things that President Trump has done?. If not, I’m here to tell you.

“One candidate thinks he’s going to bring jobs back, what does he have a magic wand?” questioned former President Barack Obama on June 1st at Elkhart TownHall in Indiana. Now almost 4 years later President Trump has:

• Added 4 million jobs, 
• Recorded record low unemployment rate since 1969,
• Brought African American, Hispanic and Asian unemployment rate to its lowest ever recorded
• Brought women’s unemployment to its lowest in 65 years
• Help bring youth unemployment rate to its lowest rate for the first time in 50 years
• Implemented many steps to fight the opioid crisis including 6 billion in funding over 2 years and passed the Support Act which works with addicts to find help.

Thats just a small list of the things our President has done so far. Since the beginning of his campaign he has been doing what he said he would do, bringing back jobs and keeping people safe. Our military funding is expected to reach over 716 billion dollars,  and the border wall is underway and gaining progress. President Trump has been proving his word so far throughout his presidency. John Chiaramitaro of Portsmouth High School told me “Hate or love him he has truly set the record for keeping campaign promises”. With an approval rating of around 50%, it will be interesting to see what will happen in this next presidential election.
