Way Too Early NFL Predictions: NFC East

NFC East

The Dallas Cowboys lost Amari Cooper in a move that freed cap space. They have really bright stars in Micah Parsons, Ceede Lamb, and Trevon Diggs. Dak Prescott is going to be tasked with being a top 5 quarterback this year, and that could possibly be out of his reach. Zeke needs to step up so much more than he has since his rookie season; he is creating a roadblock in that offense.

The Commanders traded for Carson Wentz and that move has an upside, but is it enough to make the playoffs is the question. Washington could be wanting to contend for the NFC East title, but I think two teams in this division are a bit better. Antonio Gibson could be a huge factor on the offensive side of the ball if Wentz is having an off day. Chase Young returning on the defensive side will be a huge gamechanger and will prove to be a factor on that defensive line.

Fly Eagles fly! They traded for A.J Brown and are not going to regret it. This wide receiver has everything you could want in a reviver: height, strength, versatility, and the desire to win. Jaylen Hurts is a legitimate Most Improved Player candidate as he could have a similar season to 2019 Lamar Jackson. The Eagles have great coaching and could see a deep playoff run.

The Giants are sticking with Daniel Jones. They signed Tyrod Taylor to serve as the backup which could be a good pickup for them as Jones was frequently hurt and struggled last season so a suitable backup was a good pickup. The Giants drafted amazingly well by selecting two prospects that have the highest potential in the draft. Evan Neal and Kayvon Thibodeaux could be day 1 impacts for this weak team.
