Here at Portsmouth High School the Juuling epidemic has been seen as out of control

Our school resource officer, Officer Munson, weighed in on this issue. When asked  if Juuling was a bigger problem this year compared to last year, he responded with “yes, we’ve confiscated more Juuls this year than last year and we’re only halfway through.”

Munson says he catches about 2- 3 people every week, not counting the other teachers/ staff that happen to catch more.

The long term effects of the Juul are currently unknown, but what people do know is that it is extremely addictive, and detrimental to teens’ health.
