After a tough loss against Manchester Central on Friday night, the boys prevailed against Dover on Tuesday. Even though the 43-game winning streak is no longer their priority, all players seem to have put the loss behind them.

Starting sophomore, Calvin Hewett, went on to say, “We wanted to get this win in front of the home crowd to get us back on our feet,” and that they did.

Tuesday night’s game resulted in a win, 63-44, over Dover High. At the end of the first half, Portsmouth was only winning by four points. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter when the boys picked themselves up and put on a show for the crowd.

The constant drop of three pointers by Cody Graham, Mike Sanborn, and Max Lincoln helped the team sail over the Dover Wave.

Good luck to the Clippers this season!
